this is new york pool, it has been standing here for a rather long time, but has recently gone under renovations. they re-did the locker rooms, added in a few water slides and even a wave pool! If it's winter time, or just cold out to go to the lake and you want to go on a swim, this is the place to be.

this is the bowling alley, just about every town has one. bowl you over has a retro inspired theme inside, so come on down for some fun. saturday night you can even get in half price!

want to see a movie? come down to the uptown theater, movies here are somewhat expensive, but they have meal deals, and the theater has a real Hollywood feel to it. so really, it's worth it.

this is the towns ice rink, back when it was first built it attracted a lot of attention, but now not so many people seem to go there. but if you're going on a date and want to try something different you should give this place a go.

platinum gym is a place that has just been added to new york. this is a good place to go for those people who enjoy working out

this is the beautiful lake of new york, the shores are nice and sandy, and sometimes local venders will set up stands and sell ice cream and iced tea. this is the place to be on those hot summers days when you just need to relax and cool down.

the town drive-in only has one screen, but there's a new movie every week. it isn't as popular as it used to be because of all the new places that have been added, but sometimes kids like to act old-fashioned.

extensionz is the local hair salon. it's a great salon, really. you can get your hair cut, dyed, permed, washed, anything you want. they have every color dye you can imagine. any hair cut you want, you'll get it. the greatest hair stylists work here.

really, how can a town not have a skate park? well, actually new york just recently got a skate park put in back in 2009, giving all of those skater kids a place to chill out. in the summer time sometimes this place holds special events with local bands and free food. it's a great place to be.
